    St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) Herbarium (SAC) established at the year 1967 under the Department of Botany.  The herbarium is come under category of academic herbaria,  consisting of dried preservation and liquid preservation of different plant groups including Algae, Fungi, Lichen, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes,  Gymnosperms, Angiosperms and Plant pathology from different of parts of India.

St Albert’s College Digital Herbarium is the digitalized collection of St Albert’s College Herbarium established in 2015 under the Department of Botany. The aim of the Digital Herbarium is to make digital images and data of specimens available to students and researchers in the field of Plant Taxonomy. The St. Albert’s College Herbarium  registrated to  Index Herbariorum under New York Botanical Garden, USA as registered acroynm : SAC

The digital collections consist of high resolution images and the plant details which are updated regularly.
