ST ALBERT’S COLLEGE (SAC) HERBARIUM 

 

Started at the year 1967 under the Department of Botany. St Albert’s college herbarium is come under category of academic herbaria, herbaria which are attached to academic institute and are generally a place where students deposit their collections.St Albert’s college herbarium consist of

                                     Pteridophytes

                                    Gmnosperms

                                    Lichens

                                    Plant Pathology Herbariums 

Herbariums of plants specimens from different parts of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. St Albert’s college herbarium is following the guidelines of Botanical survey of India (Government of India) for the preparation and management of herbarium.
