Description:  Tree with a height of 45 m and a branchless length of more than 25 m. Up to 100 (-160) cm in diameter, though typically less; buttresses occasionally used. The branches are typically organized in tiers, and the crown is umbrella-shaped. Simple, 13-32 cm long leaves. Orange, tiny, and arranged in thick, globular heads. They resemble solid, orange balls with hair. The fruits are tiny capsules that are tightly clustered to create a fleshy, yellow or orange infructescence that contains about 8,000 seeds. At maturity, the tiny capsules split into four pieces, releasing the seed. Per gramme, there are about 20,000 seeds. According to popular belief, it can treat astringent, ulcer, digestive, diarrhoea, expectorant, fever, and vomiting.
