Description:  Understory thorny tree up to 8m . Eatable fruits, An essential herb in Ayurveda, where infusions of the bark, leaves, and root are used to treat inflammations, fevers, and diarrhoea. The leaf is astringent and carminative, and it is also used as a tonic, expectorant, for asthma, pain alleviation, gynaecological ailments, as an anthelmintic, and as a cure for intestinal worms, hydrocele, and pneumonia. Snake bites can be treated with the leaves.
