Description:  The Red Cutch Tree is a deciduous tree that grows up to 8 metres tall and has rusty brown bark. The bark and leaves are used to treat ulcerated abscesses and toothache, while the wood is used to treat leucoderma. The bark has medicinal properties and is used to treat diarrhoea. Boiling the bark and root together in water helps to lower blood pressure. Strong wood can be used for building and agricultural implements. Wood is a very hard material that is used for agricultural implements, rice pounders, and fuelwood.
